1 month appointment

I know that you have been sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for the next Claire update. :) Today was her 1 month appointment. She got her second Hepatitis B shot and cried real tears. The doctor says she is doing good. She now weighs 7 pounds, 10 1/2 ounces and is almost 21 inches. She is growing but is still not fitting into many of her clothes.

We had a busy weekend. Friday we were at the work carnival and many of you commented how good she was sleeping, well I paid for that dearly. She was up until 3 am! Saturday we went to the Clinton Fall Festival and Claire got a pretty yellow hat. Hopefully it will fit her next Spring. Sunday was the first day she actually wore pants (she has been wearing sleepers and gowns)! The newborn Carters finally fit her.

Last night she played with her Leap Frog toy from Aunt Suzette. I think she was recognizing the blinking black and white shapes. Everyday is a new adventure.
